Jason has fond memories of cooking with rhubarb over the years, especially compote made with rhubarb freshly harvested from his garden. Drawn to the winning combination of rhubarb and star anise, he envisioned a liqueur that would taste as fresh and bright as a new summer’s day. With its classic gin base, premium rhubarb grown in British Columbia, and maceration process involving star anise and lemon skins, this liqueur achieves a perfect balance of tart, sweet, and subtly vegetal notes.
